Polo's Story

Polo is a 2.5-year-old pit bull/lab mix. He was neglected by his previous owner and abandoned.

He is an active boy and needs lots of exercise. He loves long walks, chewing toys, going to get treats like pup cups and in n out burgers and most of all, humans. He needs a quick refresher on potty training as he lived on the top floor in an apartment complex with no outdoor area and was not let outside.

He is a bit reactive on leash with other dogs but is a quick learner and with the proper training will excel.

He would do best with someone with previous dog experience.

He has been enrolled in obedience board and train with K9 University and he knows a lot of commands. When he is excited, he jumps high on you. We are working on that.

He loves toys and fetch. He is afraid of loud noises and fireworks. He is very good in the house.

He is the sweetest, most outgoing dog you’ll ever meet. He loves to give kisses and he’s never not seen smiling.

We are currently waiting for his DNA to come back.

We have no fosters for our big dogs and really could use experienced dog owners for all our dogs and cats.
