Polly's Story

Meet Polly – the sweetest little survivor looking for her forever home!

Polly has had a rough start, as you can see from the scratches on her face, and we don’t think she had ever lived inside a home before we rescued her. But this tiny girl (nicknamed “Polly Pocket” because she’s so much smaller in person than her photos make her look!) is learning fast and showing so much heart.

She’s done well with her big dog foster sibling, but we think she’d really love a calmer home—maybe with smaller dog friends or even as the only pup to soak up all the love.

Polly is very affectionate and loves to cuddle up close once she feels safe. She follows foster mom everywhere; being near her people is her favorite! Fast movements can startle her, so an adult or quiet household would be ideal for this calm girl.

She’s not quite housebroken, mostly because she’s never had the chance to learn. But with patience and consistency, she’ll get there—she’s already showing she wants to please.

If you’ve got room in your heart (and lap) for a gentle little soul who’s been through a lot but still just wants love, Polly might be your girl. You can see in the last photo she is standing next to her boxer friend, we thought it might help visualize how small she really is!

Polly has successful undergone heartworm treatment, she is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.
