They had a very, very small yard and no real fence so they could not keep him contained and he would travel. At the risk of getting hurt or being hurt they surrendered him. <br/><br/>Polar is an amazing dog, he LOVES people. He would love a house with many people so he is never alone. Although if he has to be alone he is kennel trained and it's highly recommended you keep him kennel trained. <br/><br/>Polar was recently adopted and the adopters chose not to continue with the kennel and Polar would get bored at night, and rearrange the house. I did suggest they kennel him at night verses returning, but that was animal abuse. So we took him back because we love him. <br/><br/>Please don't leave him out in the yard and leave the house. He is a husky and will find himself bored. As he did with his previous adopter.. When Polar realized his adopter was not home, he would scale the fence and go looking for him, often finding himself sidetracked and playing with other dogs and swimming in the lake where his adopter would come and fish him out of the water and take him home. <br/><br/>Water he LOVES water. Anything water, Lakes, rivers, pools, Anything water. He just wants to be where you are. At night he kennels well here when I go to bed. He often gets a beef bone, or a bully stick to help him settle until he falls asleep. <br/><br/>Polar is 2 1/2 years old, and looking for his forever family. He is not fully cat tested but as he is coming and going he passes dogs and ignores him. I don't believe he would have a problem with him, but I do medical kittens and I can't risk them. So when foster dogs are in the house they are kenneled. <br/><br/>Polar is neutered, dewormed, microchipped, UTD on vaccines, and treated for fleas.<br/><br/>Polar's meet will be held in Centralia.
