Pokie's Story
Pokie is a 1 -2 year old Shepherd mix. She came to us on March 6th after she was found on Rt 3, she had just been hit by a car and had a severe injury to her head. No owners ever came to claim her. After months of medical care and therapy, she is finally ready to be adopted. She is medium sized, knows all basic commands and house and crate trained. She loves to run and play, then cuddle up on your lap (her favorite spot) or snuggle in a blanket . No small children, can get along with other dogs and cats if introduced properly. Please call the shelter to set up a time to meet Pokie as she is currently in foster care. 330-723-7722. Pokie is spayed, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and negative for heartworms.
