Poe is a mixed breed who is full of joy and affection. With her adorable forehead wrinkles, unique little ridge that appears down her back when she gets excited, and her irresistible face, Poe is truly one-of-a-kind—and she knows how to steal hearts!<br/><br/>This girl loves people and greets everyone with happy, enthusiastic curiosity. She recently met a couple of toddlers at an adoption event and was wonderfully gentle and appropriate with them. She has not yet been tested with cats, but when it comes to dogs, Poe is a social butterfly! She currently lives with two dogs much larger than she is and absolutely loves them. She is playful and submissive with her canine friends, enjoying a good romp before settling down for some serious cuddle time.<br/><br/>Poe is curious about the world and excited to experience everything it has to offer. She does well on walks, although she believes every blade of grass deserves a thorough investigation. She is also an excellent little traveler! After already riding 45 minutes with rescue volunteers, Poe handled another hour-long car ride like a total pro.<br/><br/>Poe knows “sit,” is learning her name, and is making great progress with house training. She will happily go into her crate. At night, she'd much rather be snuggled up next to her people—and if you let her, she'll happily stay there all morning. <br/><br/>Poe loves sunny spots, playing with other dogs, good food, and being close to her people. <br/><br/>If you're looking for a happy, affectionate, social dog who wants to be part of the family—and who thinks snuggling is a perfectly acceptable full-time job—Poe may be your girl!
