Pocus's Story

Hi, I'm Pocus! I'm a nine-month-old black lab, and while I might only weigh 35 pounds, I'm packed with enough energy to power a small city!

Life is all about running, playing, and sniffing every single blade of grass. Outside is my happy place. My foster mom says I need a family with a big, fenced yard because, well, I really, really love to run. It's like my legs have a mind of their own, and they're always itching for adventure.

Inside, I’m a sucker for stuffed toys. Give me a squeaky hedgehog, and I'll be your best friend forever. And treats? Don't even get me started! I'll do almost anything for a tasty morsel. I even know some commands, like "sit" and "stay," though "stay" is sometimes…challenging.

Foster mom keeps saying I need training. Apparently, my enthusiasm sometimes overwhelms my listening skills. I guess you could say I'm a bit of a wild one. But I promise, I'm learning!

The best part is, after a long day of zoomies and toy-destroying, I transform into a cuddle monster. I love snuggling up on the couch and burying my head in someone's lap. I'm even good in my kennel if you need some peace and quiet. I can hang out in there for hours, especially if I have a yummy bone.

Foster mom says I'd be happiest with a very active person or maybe even a furry sibling to play with. Someone who can keep up with my energy and understand my need for speed. If you're that person, and you don't mind a little (okay, a lot) of running, then maybe I'm the dog for you! Come meet me, and let's see if our tails wag in the same rhythm!

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website at www.lolin.org and click on Adopt, Apply for a Dog. From there, you can submit an Adoption Application to be considered for this dog. You MUST be an approved applicant to meet LOLIN dogs. There is no central location or hours to meet dogs.
