Pocket's Story
Meet Pocket, whose biggest problem is that she is Way Too Cute!! This little mama came to us when she was thought to be a Ridgeback mix ... alas, she is under 30 lbs and her "ridge" is a fancy cowlick down her neck. Regardless, she is a super cool young pup who needs a person or family to give her lots of activity! Pocket is quite the Happy Go Lucky girl. Very curious and inquisitive, not afraid of household noises but doesn't like cement trucks on the street ... She LOVES going on walks and is fair on the leash, but likes to take the lead. She's a big sniffer, wanting to check out everything with her nose to the ground. Ideally, she could use a good walk/run daily, and/or another dog to play with. She would be a great running buddy, and she loves other dogs! Other than being a bit too forward in her exuberance, she has been good with all dogs she's met and will play and share toys. Pocket is treat-motivated so is very responsive to training. She knows basic commands and will be fun to train more. She is also great in the house and is not destructive. She enjoys all people - does not discriminate against anyone. Pocket would be a great family dog in a home with kids, but also would do well with a single person who has lots of time for her!

Pocket is being fostered in the South San Francisco area, and her adoption fee is $400.

If you are interested in adopting this sweet young girl, please visit our website and fill out an application.
rincal.org
