Pixie & Trixie's Story
**Meet Pixie & Trixie — Sweet Sisters Looking for a Foster-to-Adopt Home!**

These two adorable little sisters are looking for a forever home—together.

Pixie and Trixie are 2 years old and full of personality! Their bond is truly special, and we would love to see them leave the shelter and settle into a loving Foster or Foster-to-Adopt home together.

**Pixie** is the more outgoing of the two—curious, playful, and always ready to say hello. She recently developed a swollen lymph node, which we are monitoring. It has already started to decrease in size, which is encouraging, but she still needs follow-up observation to make sure it continues to improve. For that reason, we would prefer a foster home while we keep an eye on her health. She also has has a luxating patella, meaning her kneecap sometimes slips out of its normal position and then moves back into place. She is still active, running, and enjoying life, but her knee will need continued monitoring and may require veterinary care in the future.

**Trixie** is a little more reserved and shy at first, but once she warms up, she is just as loving and sweet.

Of course, they both have a touch of that classic Chihuahua attitude now and then —but it only adds to their charm.

A Foster or Foster-to-Adopt home would give Pixie and Trixie the chance to get out of the shelter while we continue monitoring their needs. PAWS for Life covers their medical care, food, and all of their other necessities while they are in foster care. We would love to find them a safe, loving home where they can relax, thrive, and hopefully become part of the family forever.

These girls are looking for a home that will love them as a pair and give them the time and patience they deserve to settle in and shine.

We are currently accepting applications for Pixie and Trixie. Once applications are reviewed and approved, we will reach out to schedule meet-and-greets.

**Kids 12 and older.**

**PAWS for Life**
**719-543-6464**
**www.pawspueblo.org** — Applications
