Pixie's Story

0. Meet Pixie 0.

Full of love and excitement, Pixie is ready to find her furever family! This little girl has a heart for adventure and a love for affection and is dying to find her new companion (or companions) for life! Pixie is still a puppy learning her manners but she is motivated LOTS by any kind of treat, especially chicken. She's fun-loving and confident, always ready to challenge something new head on!

Pixie has been here since January of 2026 and has since been fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and dewormed - the full works! With that said, come down to the Humane Society of Charles County to meet her and see for yourself what a wonderful little lady she is!

Adoption Fees: The good news is: you can generally find a pet here for far less than in most pet stores. The bad news is: it’s unfortunate that we cannot give away the animals free of charge! In order to continue operating, we must recover some of the costs of care (such as medical examinations, food, utilities and other costs).
