Pixie's Story

Meet Pixie, a 1 year and 11 month old terrier mix with a joyful personality and a lot of love to give.

Pixie came to us as a stray on January 2nd in very poor condition. She was severely underweight at just 39 pounds, had skin issues, and had recently nursed puppies. Since then, she has made an incredible recovery and is now a healthy 51 pounds and continuing to improve.

Pixie is a happy, energetic dog who loves being around people. She greets the world with full-body wiggles and an enthusiastic spirit. She enjoys playing tug-of-war, spending time with other dogs, and playing in water. She also does well with kids and is very people-oriented.

Pixie knows "sit," is eager to please, and would benefit from continued training and structure. She still has some ongoing skin healing, but it does not slow her down or affect her positive attitude.

Pixie would do well in an active home that can provide her with playtime, companionship, and continued care as she finishes her recovery. She is a fun, affectionate dog who is ready to be part of a family.
