While fetch isn't really her thing, Pixie enjoys playing with toys, chewing on her favorites, and spending quality time with her favorite humans.<br/>This fun-loving girl adores belly rubs and scratches, she'll even kick her legs in the air like a goofball when you find the right spot!<br/><br/>Pixie has tested positive for Anaplasma. Ask a TCHS staff member for any questions regarding this.<br/><br/>Pixie has had some mixed experiences with other dogs. She was friendly with dogs when she was younger, but recently hasn't been a fan of some neighboring dogs through a fence. Because of this, slow and proper introductions are highly recommended, as not every dog will be her best friend. If there's already a dog in the home, a meet-and-greet before adoption is encouraged to make sure everyone gets along. She has met kitties and enjoyed chasing after them, due to this we recommend pixie go to a kitty free home. <br/><br/>Overall, Pixie is a sweet, energetic girl who will bring a lot of love, fun, and personality to her new family! One of her favorite things is to take long naps on the bed or the couch with her favorite human. She needs a forever home, will it be you?<br/><br/>*Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling 320-252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.<br/><br/>**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
