Pixie's Story
Meet Pixie!
Pixie is a joyful jumping bean of a dog--all 18lbs of her. Her unpredictable start in life has left her a little anxious around new experiences, but the stability of foster care has done wonders for her confidence and allowed her friendly and playful personality to shine.

Pixie is a smart girl but so far a blank canvas —she’ll benefit greatly from training, particularly leash work (unless you’re planning to run her with a sled team!) She is very food motivated which will help enormously as positive reinforcement for all the things she's waiting to learn. She’s about 98% house-trained, still shaking off the memory of kennel life, she occasionally uses a pee pad overnight.

Pixie absolutely loves company—whether it’s canine, human, or even feline. She’ll do best in a home with another furry (or not-so-furry) friend to help her continue growing in confidence and joy.

If you’d like to learn more about this sweet girl, please contact her foster, Pippa, at pippa.a.ford@gmail.com.
