Pixie's Story

Meet Pixie!

Say hello to our tiny 15-year-old princess, Pixie! This 4.5 lb sweetheart may be small, but she’s full of sass and personality.

Pixie came to us with a middle ear infection that caused her to tilt her head and walk in circles, but she’s doing so much better now. She does have some wobbly back legs and knees that like to pop in and out, but she doesn’t let that slow her down one bit! She also has a small benign tumor on her head that our vets agreed to just let be.

Despite her age, Pixie still has plenty of spunk. She’s convinced she can take on a Great Dane (even though she has no teeth). She can be a little feisty with other dogs but overall enjoys her space and her people. She’s also delightfully demanding when she wants attention or dinner — you’ll definitely know what she wants!

Pixie is potty trained to go outside or use a potty pad when you’re not home. She takes a daily dose of gabapentin and joint supplements to help her stay comfy.

Pixie would do best in a calm home with another mellow dog or as the only pet. Because of her delicate legs, older children or an adult-only home would be ideal.

She’s spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, had full bloodwork done, and had a dental (with all teeth removed) — she’s all ready for her happily ever after!

If you think you can give this senior diva the love and comfort she deserves, fill out an application today.
