Pistol - Fostered in Holland, MI's Story
Breed: Moyan Poodle
DOB: Sept 2022
Sex: Neutered male
Weight: 30 pounds

Yes, his name fits him although he has grown up a bit and is not quite as mischievous as he was at first. He is still pretty active and either needs a human who will spend time playing with him or else another dog who loves to play chase and "steal the toy".
He has always had a fenced yard so we are requiring that an adopter has a physical fence around their yard. He does love to run around the yard and will use up some of his energy doing just that!

As he has matured, he has started to want more human attention and petting. When he thinks he needs it, he either lays his head on their laps or stands real close gazing and hoping they notice.

When meeting new people, he is cautious but is easily persuaded he is not in any “danger” if offered treats.

Originally he was crate trained but he is house trained now and as long as he has toys, he has been very good left loose in the house gated in the Kitchen away from outside windows that he can see out of. He would probably get overexcited if he could see activity outside that he couldn't join in. However, he sometimes goes in an open crate when the humans in the home get ready to leave.

He has never met a cat so we do not know how he would be with them.
If you have any questions, please email tzupoomom@gmail.com .

If you would like to apply for this dog, go to https://apbdogs.org/apply-for-adoption/

Animal Placement Bureau's standard adoption fee is $250. Our adoption process includes an application, personal and vet reference checks, and a home visit. We do not ship dogs under any circumstances.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check our events page at https://apbdogs.org/category/about-us/ for the dates and locations of our next meet and greet. Appointments outside of these events to visit our dogs are available after an application has been filled out, and processing has begun.
Please be kind to our volunteers.
