Pistachio (Praline)'s Story

Pistachio here. I just wanted to let you know how things are going for me
here at my foster home. I have learned that these people prefer I go
outside to use the bathroom. Yet they go inside so go figure. I have only
had one accident since I've been here, and I used my friend Malachi's
puppy pad. So, I found out there is no equal treatment there. Speaking of
Malachi, he is about 1/3 my size and we play till we fall over. He is
sometimes a bully and acts like a hype man and gets us in trouble. At night,
I've been swapping between my kennel and my nice bed. They say this is
so I can get used to the kennel (jail). I have also used the kennel while
everyone is gone. This is the easy part; they were so happy simply
because I didn't use the bathroom in it. That was too easy. When we first
started going outside, we used this green thing wrapped around my neck. It
took me a couple of days, but I am fine with it. Just as I was getting used to
that they just freely started taking me outside. I love this; I can go use the
bathroom and play and the best part is all I must do to stay out of trouble is
come when they tell me to. Once again it is super easy. I've been eating
well and the tall guy sneaks me food I am not supposed to have on
occasion. I wasn't supposed to tell that so shhhh. I have another friend; she
is a big dog, I think a little chubby but she is a Cane Corso and weighs 130
lbs. We absolutely love to play also but that must be monitored. They keep
saying something about "two bulls in a China shop." I haven't figured that
out yet because I have yet to see the first cow here. I also have some cats
that live here. I like them, but I learned quickly to respect boundaries. I also
figured out which ones would play and which ones would make that hissing
sound at me. I left those alone. I think I have learned some things that will
help me find my forever home. If you could help me with this, I would
greatly appreciate it. They keep telling me I am a very sweet girl.
