Pistachio's Story

Pistachio is an affectionate and intelligent dog who thrives when she has structure, guidance, and someone to advocate for her. She loves everyone she meets, enjoys outings, rides well in the car, and is highly food motivated — making her a smart and responsive pupil during training. She’s ready to shine for someone experienced who can help her stay grounded and confident in a busy world.

This sweet girl has a special quirk: she adores her stuffed animals. Every day, she chooses her most cherished toy and proudly carries it to her bed, making sure it’s safe, dry, and comfortable — even happily sleeping on the floor herself so her toy has the best spot. Her devotion and carefulness toward her stuffies is just one example of her tender, thoughtful nature.

Pistachio is recommended to go to a home without children or other dogs, as she is dog reactive. She could coexist peacefully with cats given proper introductions. She responds wonderfully to guidance, and her loyalty shines when she trusts her people. At the vet, she’s handled procedures calmly, but is quite vocal when receiving her vaccines! She’s not very accustomed to nail care — she’ll either need continued professional nail trims or regular use of a file board at home to keep her nails salon quality!

With the right experienced owner, Pistachio will flourish. She’s a dog who gives her whole heart to those she trusts, listens well, and is ready to be your loyal companion. She just needs someone patient and understanding to help her navigate the world. If you’re looking for a smart, loving, and unique little lady to devote your care and love to, Pistachio might be the perfect match.
