Pippy's Story

When we first met Pippy while walking the kennels at County, her tiny body was trembling in the corner of her kennel — a scared little soul who had been found wandering the streets all alone. Though fear may be the first thing you notice about her, beneath that timid exterior is the sweetest, most gentle little heart just waiting to feel safe.

Pippy is around a year old and still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. She’s what we lovingly call a “fearful avoidant” pup — shy and cautious. With patience, love, and time, her trust begins to bloom, and her soft, sweet spirit shines through.

Pippy is currently in a board and train program where she’s working hard on building her confidence and learning that love and safety are here to stay. We know that with the right person, she’ll blossom into the brave, happy little girl she’s meant to be.

If you’re ready to open your heart to this precious soul, please submit an adoption application through our website at skysanctuaryrescue.org/applications. Once received, we’ll gladly arrange a meet-and-greet so you can fall in love with Pippy in person.
