History<br/>Pippi arrived at the shelter as a stray.<br/><p><br/>Personality<br/>Pippi is our muscle-bound little sparkplug. She has an amazing physique, and although it may be small, it's packed with personality. She came to us as a stray, and surprisingly, no one came looking for her. <p>She knows her basic commands and would likely be a very easy student, if you'd like to teach her more. She has a very keen mind. Pippi walks well on a leash, although she will try to chase just about anything that moves, so she won't be a good candidate if you're looking for a dog who can walk off-leash. She's quite the proud little prancer when she's enjoying her walk, and it will put a smile on your face to see. <p>Pippi walks well with other dogs and has enjoyed her time with Keiko and Oscar. What she enjoys the most though, is playing fetch. She'll chase after balls of any size, from tennis to soccer, even though soccer balls are as big as she is, and she does so with 110% effort. She's entertained quite a few volunteers with her backyard antics, and has quickly become a very popular girl. You have to love a dog that can consistently put a smile on your face. <p>Pippi will need a very active home in order to keep both her body and mind exercised. <b>If you aren't familiar with Jack Russell Terriers, please read up on them before you consider adopting one.</b>
