Meet Pippa - courtesy post
This is a courtesy post. Broken Tail Rescue is assisting the current caretaker in rehoming Pippa. All applications will be forwarded to her temporary caretaker.
Pippa is a sweet seven-year-old, 42-pound Pit-Boston Terrier mix in need of a new loving forever home. She is healthy and up to date on immunizations. She's eager to match whatever energy level you're at - whether that means a long walk through the woods or an afternoon lounging in the sun or on the couch. Pippa's past included a caretaker that had a lot on their plate. Pippa spent too much time alone and now resits being in a crate. She is house trained and is not destructive when left alone in her new temporary caretaker's room.
Pippa adores children and grew up in a home with two active young boys. She has lived with cats and can peacefully co-exist with them. At the dog park, she is sociable with dogs but has had scuffles with dogs she's lived with. Overall we believe Pippa would be best suited to be the only dog in her new home.
She is spayed, housetrained, and a companion dog. just waiting for the right home!

NOTE: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
