Pipit's Story
Meet Pipit - the sweetest pittie you ever did meet!

Pipit is a big, beautiful black pittie with soft, soulful eyes, excellent manners, and absolutely zero interest in chaos. At 31⁄2 years old, she’s a grown woman who knows what she likes: calm days, good company, snacks of all kinds, and uninterrupted belly rubs. She came to us way back in October and has been winning everyone over since then.

And let’s go back to those belly rubs - because Pipit doesn’t just accept them, she commits. Full rollover. Legs in the air. Maximum surface area. No notes.

She’s heartworm negative, very likely potty trained, and well past the "what if I chew your shoes?" era. Pipit already understands the assignment: be chill, be sweet, and be wherever her people are. She’d be perfectly content hanging out at home for "girl dinner" (she’s not picky — any combination of food and treats will do, and she’ll give you the prettiest sit you’ve ever seen as a thank-you). She’s also dog-friendly and wouldn’t mind a gentle playmate.

So why has a dog this great been here so long?

Because she’s a big dog.
Because she’s black.
Because she’s a pittie.

That’s it. That’s the list. And none of those things have anything to do with the kind of dog she is — a quiet, low-maintenance, deeply loving companion who will give her whole heart to her person.

If you’ve ever said "I just want a calm, sweet dog," if you believe the best friends come in big, blocky-headed packages, if you have a couch that could use a permanent, snuggly shadow — please come meet Pipit!
