Piper's Story
Age: 3.5 years
Gender: Female
Breed Lab X
About Piper:
Piper has found her way back to us after originally being adopted a couple of years ago. Through absolutely no fault of her own, she is once again in our care and looking for a fresh start & new beginning.
Piper is a very sweet girl and is very friendly with staff and volunteers. We have learned in her short time with us that she can be dog selective, though we are currently assessing this as it may due to adjusting to living in a shelter enviroment..
The good news is that Piper has previously successfully lived with a dog, a cat and a small child, giving her some experience living in a family home.
Piper is fully vetted and ready to begin her next chapter. She is currently looking for a foster-to-adopt or an adoptive home where she can decompress, rebuild her confidence, and ease back into home life while we make sure it’s the right match for everyone - so she doesn’t move again.
If you think Piper might be the missing piece to your family, please reach out to learn more about fostering-to-adopt 🩵🐾
Adoption Fee: $425
Includes microchip, spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, and deworming.
Please note: We adopt to force-free homes only, and the adoptive family must continue using force-free training methods after adoption.
If you think Piper would be a good fit for your home please visit our website at paws-rescue.com and fill out an application.
