Piper's Story

Piper was a dog who was in the shelter for 6 months and surrendered because the adopters dog was overwhelming for her (Aussie Shepherd). Piper once had a family, but sadly they got divorced. It is our understanding that the husband kept her, and apparently rehomed Piper without the wife's knowledge. Some time after, Piper was found dumped on a hiking trail 6 years later which lead her to the Coachella Valley Shelter. Luckily for Piper, someone with an affinity for her breed was eyeing her for 6 months, fearful no one would be coming for Piper because "she didn't fit the standard Shar Pei look". The networker who knew the original family for Piper said Piper is a Shibu Inu/Shar Pei mix! Piper is extremely special
because despite her being tossed around amongst the different households she is the most happy go lucky dog!
Piper is not destructive, and she doesn't bark! We believe Piper should be the only dog of the house. If this story or her pictures touch your heart please fill out an application, you won't be disappointed

Hi I'm Piper
I'm a girl
I'm excellent in the car
I'm healthy
I'm fully Vaccinated
I had my eyes done
I've had my teeth cleaned
I'm only 40lbs
I love to snuggle
I walk amazing on the leash
Kid friendly
Great companion
Family dog
Couch potato but makes a great adventure buddy Apply today to make Piper part of your family at DMDR.com.
