Piper's Story

Piper and her brother Oliver (recently adopted) waited a long time to be noticed. In fact, their young mom Nova, adopted a few months ago by a nice family after she was initially brought in from WV, her place of origin. The two siblings followed suit to enhance their chances of meeting new potential adopters, and it worked out for Oliver in just a week.

"Miss" Piper is almost 2 yrs old, is a tad shy during first meetings, but within a couple of minutes she happily takes treats gently from offering hands, and shows what a loving dog she is. A good playmate for other like-minded dogs, Piper has many pals here to run and roll with. She would be fine around respectful kids, but has not been kitty tested. Her calm demeanor suggests that she might be able to work out living arrangements with a cat.

You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.

Link to application: https://www.angelridgeanimalrescue.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Dog-Application.pdf
