Piper's Story

Piper - Looking for His Happily Ever After

Piper has spent more than 10 years loving his family, and after his owner became ill and could no longer care for him, this sweet senior found himself back with us. We can only imagine how confusing that must have been after so many years in a home.

But Piper is showing us just how special he is.

He is currently living in a foster home, and his foster family will tell you what we already knew-Piper is a wonderful dog. He is housebroken, gets along with dogs and cats, and is simply an easygoing, sweet old guy. He still enjoys a little playtime, but he doesn't need much. Piper is perfectly happy relaxing beside you, getting some love, taking a stroll, and enjoying the quiet comforts of home.

He would do best in a home without children living there, although visiting children are okay. Piper recently had a dental and had some teeth removed, and he is doing well and feeling better every day.

At this stage of his life, Piper isn't asking for much. He isn't looking for endless adventures or a busy household. He just wants a person who will see an older dog and realize that his story isn't over.

He has already given more than a decade of his life to someone. Now, we would love to see someone give Piper the gift of a forever home for his golden years.

A soft bed. A quiet home. Someone to love him. Someone to be there when he looks up and wonders, "Am I finally home?"

Piper deserves to feel that way again.
