Piper's Story

Piper is a 6 month old Corgi who came to us as an owner surrender. He was super under socialized as a puppy so he can still be very scared sometimes. He is in a foster home and his foster had this to say about him. "Piper definitely needs a house with a fenced yard. He also really loves other creatures to cuddle or entertain. Piper and Tio(our cat) play constantly so he is very cat and dog friendly. He is slowly getting better about going outside to use the potty , but hates leashes still. He loves to run around in the yard and play in the snow. He is in his chew everything puppy phase. So might not be suitable for small children. He is very loving, still a little nervous about being approached. If you have to pick him up to go outside, he thinks it's a game and will dance away. He does have a loud bark, but it's only if he hears a loud or unfamiliar noise. So he would be a great watch dog. I think the perfect situation for him would be a home with another young dog or cat. Overall he is a wonderful and loving puppy, very cuddly and loves to sleep near you.

Please apply at Whsadopt.org if you are interested in meeting him.
