PIPER's Story

Piper was picked up as a stray and found herself at animal care and control in Georgia. Due to her being so skinny, no one knew she was pregnant until she started giving birth! The shelter she was at does not have heat/AC, and a cold snap/freeze was coming. We knew she and her babies wouldn't handle the cold well at all, so we stepped in to help. Piper is the perfect size at 37 pounds; not too big and not too little. She loves playing with the other moms here! All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed and on flea/tick prevention. Puppies/dogs older than 3 months are on heartworm prevention. Our dogs/pups are spayed or neutered, current on vaccines/deworming, microchipped, current on flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention. Our adoption donation varies depending on age & size. Adopting a dog/puppy is a lifetime commitment. Are you ready for a new found friend? Prospective families will email Info@BigHearts4PawsRescue.org and be interviewed online prior to adoption. Approved families will then move on to setup an appointment to meet/greet and adopt.
