Piper's Story

Piper is an adult female, mostly white with brown spots, guessed to be a shepherd mix. Dumped on a country road with her siblings at 6 months old, Piper has lived at the shelter since 2022. A very sweet, shy and submissive girl, she gets along great with other dogs, ignores cats, but has to take time to warm up to people she first meets. Piper walks well on a leash and is potty trained with a dog door. Her ideal home would be with a person or family who is sensitive to her background and history, has a securely fenced yard, and can help this girl build confidence as this will be her first time living in a home.

All HSGC pets come with their medical file that shows they have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and current on heartworm/flea and tick prevention. Visit our website at hsgconline.org to fill out our application and see all of our pets available for adoption.
