Introducing our sweet, petite girl Piper. Piper is around 3 years old, but as you can see in the photos, she's small even for a beagle. Piper loves to hunt squirrels, play with other dogs, sniff, and eat! She is a true beagle in all ways, which makes her even more lovable. Piper is doing well with house training and doesn't mind her crate too much either. This good because she can be a bit mischievous (I mean we did say she is all beagle) when she gets bored. However, as long as you keep this girl active, she is the best! We do believe Piper was a hunting beagle before she came to HoundSong. Because of this, we are wanting her forever home to have a securely fenced backyard. Piper is good with cats even though she was a hunter. She does not mind if the cats share her bed as you can see in her photos. She likes them because they are just her size. Do you think Piper could be the pup you have been looking for? All our dogs live in foster homes, so a meet and greet will have to be scheduled with the foster family.<br/><br/>HoundSong Rescue dogs are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. HoundSong Rescue also offers Fi Collars for an additional $100 fee. Fi Collars are GPS collars with many other features we find valuable when owning a hound. Our amazing adoption coordinators will happily answer any questions you have in regards to the Fi Collar and the dog you are interested in adopting.<br/><br/>Pet Friendly Services of Indiana provides grant funding, in the form of free discount coupons, to help shelters and rescue groups spay/neuter cats and dogs in our care through the Pet Friendly Plate Program.
