Pip's Story

Meet 3 year old, approx. 15 – 20 pound “sweet and lovable” Pip, as described by his owner who had to surrender him due to pregnancy and loss of job.  Black and white Pip and his beagle buddy Henry loved to play, run, and snuggle together in the house. They also had full run of the home and enjoyed being on the furniture and car rides. Pip is very friendly with new people. His owner did not have the resources to fully potty train, leash train, or crate train him but he is smart and eager to learn whatever his forever family would like to teach him. His family said he was good with all kids. He is not good with cats, and he is afraid of fireworks. Pip has been used to living with his brother Henry in a more rural environment, so it will probably take some extra time for him to decompress, but these KY dogs are resilient and will definitely adapt to a loving home. He may do best in a quieter home with no other dogs, but as always proper introduction and time for the resident dog to adapt to the new dog is necessary. Pip will be up to date on all his shots and neutered by the time he arrives in Northern NJ on 1/9/21. To adopt Pip, please visit our website at www.peace4paws.org. Thanks!
