New things make him a little unsure at first, but with reassurance and support he gains confidence and explores bravely. He is very curious about all things happening around him.

Pinga loves being outdoors. He is his best self when his energy is directed in to walking, hiking or obedience training. He loves having a job to do and is eager to learn. He quickly picked up on basic obedience like sit, down, touch, paws up, etc and is now working on more advance training. In secure off leash spaces, Pinga has shown excellent recall.

He’s a smart, eager boy who sometimes needs multiple redirections as he learns boundaries with humans—though he responds very quickly to guidance from older dogs who let him know when he’s being inappropriate. Potty training is in progress and Pinga is able to hold it over night and through his foster human’s work day. He is working on learning to give a signal when he needs to go otherwise and regular bathroom breaks help keep him on a no-accident streak while he develops this.
He is being fostered with an older large dog and a cat, and he’s navigating both relationships well.

Pinga will do best in a home that can offer structure, consistency, and continued training to help him grow into his best self.

for an adoption application, please visit the link below:
