Pilot's Story
When people see Pilot they often ask, “Is he a Rottweiler puppy?” Pilot has that basic look, but weighs in at about only 35-40 pounds as a full grown dog of just over 2 years old. He retains that puppy look and playfulness. Pilot’s claim to fame is he can spring almost straight up when he sees his favorite person, the kennel tech who cares for him. Since then though, Pilot has been in a loving foster home where that is being changed to sitting quietly for petting and leash. Pilot has never had a single accident in his month of fostering; he is neutered and up to date on his rabies shots. Wonderfully crate trained, he likes his crate for naps and night time, the rest of the time he has free roam in the house. Pilot is living with 3 resident dogs ranging in size from 14 lbs to 80 lbs, male and female. He gets along great with all and plays with them nicely. Pilot’s excitement time is leash time, giving his fosters that chance to work on sitting and being calm and he is doing well.<br/> Call the Cherokee Village Animal Control M-F to get more information on Pilot.
