Pilot is about 2 years old and about 50 lbs. He is a handsome, energetic, sweet and playful boy! Sadly, he's had a rough several months and is still searching for his forever home. Pilot found himself as a resident at Meade County Animal Shelter, where he stole the show with his striking good looks and wonderful personality! Unfortunately, it still took him a few months to be adopted, and his happily ever after hasn't happened yet. Within 24 hours of being adopted, he got away from his new family and was running loose for a week. He was finally reunited with them, but had a hard time settling in. <br/><br/>Now his is with a family member, and still struggling. He is happy as can be with his "foster" mom, he loves to "get dressed" with his harness, go on walks, play and eat! Sadly, when family members come home for the day, his anxiety and fearfulness show. He is skittish around children and men, and when they are home, he hides in fear.<br/><br/>His journey is not over, he just hasn't found the right home. He would love a home with a female, no kids and maybe another friendly dog to help him feel comfortable and learn the ropes.
