Pilot's Story

Meet Pilot!

Pilot is a 3-year-old, 65-lb yellow Lab who is pure sunshine in dog form. Pilot is a loving, happy boy whose favorite place is right next to his person. He thrives on human companionship and wants to be part of whatever you’re doing.
Pilot currently lives with three other dogs and does well overall, though he can be a bit dog-selective. He enjoys walks but is generally a low-key, easygoing guy. His energy spikes when he thinks pets might be coming his way, but otherwise he’s content to relax at home. Though he has access to a yard, he’d much rather be inside with his humans—preferably sitting close by.

In the house, Pilot is quiet and well-mannered. He is fully crate trained and potty trained. On leash, he does well but can be reactive to other animals; however, he has been working hard on this and has shown great improvement with positive, treat-based training.
Pilot enjoys chewing but for the most part sticks to his toys. He has gotten ahold of the occasional piece of cardboard but has never touched furniture. He would do best with an adopter who understands his need for human connection and is willing to continue his training.

Interested parties must complete an adoption application on our website. Breed, age, and size are not guaranteed.

www.billiesbuddies.org/adopt
