Pierre's Story

Pierre
Neutered
4 years old

Pierre, affectionately known as Pepper, is a four-year-old, 12-pound bundle of joy with a heart as big as his personality. Originally found in difficult conditions in Mississippi, Pierre hasn’t let his rough start define him. Instead, he’s blossomed into a happy, loving little guy who has settled beautifully into his foster home.

With a medium energy level, Pierre strikes a wonderful balance between playful and cuddly. He gets along great with children and other dogs — even pups much bigger than he is! He loves playing with his toys, chewing on a good bone, and is always up for a fun game of fetch.

When playtime is over, Pierre’s favorite place to be is right by his people — ideally curled up in a warm lap. He’s a snuggly, affectionate companion who thrives on connection and loves being part of the action.

Pierre is currently working on his crate and potty training and is making great progress. With consistent trips outside every few hours, he’s doing very well with house training and continues to improve each day.

Playful, adventurous, and full of love, Pierre is ready to find a forever family to call his own. Could that be you?

Interested in adopting? Submit an adoption application on our website rescuedrascalsil.org!

We will review your application at our earliest convenience. If your application is selected, we will contact you for a phone interview. From there, we’d schedule a meet and greet with the dog to make sure it is a great fit for adoption for the whole family and any other dogs in your home.

Questions about adoption?
