Pickles (TN)'s Story

Pickles – 2 years old, located in Tennessee
PRO ID #: 250671-P-B-OK
Intake Date: 1/2/26
Available Date: 3/2/26

Who doesn’t love Pickles?!?! Pickles was originally fostered in PRO in 2025 but she wasn’t getting along with other dogs in her original adoptive home and Pickles found her way back to PRO in January. After a week in her new foster home in Tennessee, Pickles went to go learn some new and improved manners with our friends at Ridgeside K9 Nashville.

While in her board and train, Pickles learned how to respond to her e-collar, learning to respond to verbal commands, as well as hand commands and tones, in order to improve her ability to interact with her sisters in her foster home. Additionally, Pickles worked on reinforcing skills like sit, stay, place, heel, and recall. Now that Pickles has finished her intensive training, she’s ready to find her new home.

Pickles is a VERY ACTIVE dog and will do best in a home that is also active. No couch potatoes, please! Pickles is looking for a home that is going to keep her busy – whether it’s walks, hikes, swimming, boat rides, or long runs – Pickles needs a lot of activity in her future home.

Pickles loves playing with her foster siblings – but any home with dogs will need to follow a strict protocol for introducing her to their family. Pickles will do well in a home where she can build trust and familiarity with her peers rather than one where her fellow dogs come and go. Pickles does well with cats who are adept at interacting with dogs.

TRANSPORT AVAILABLE TO APPROVED HOMES!
