Pickles's Story

Hey! I’m Pickles, a happy, wiggly, peanut-butter-loving ball of energy! I’m almost 2 years old and I’ve never met a stranger I didn’t love, and honestly, I think attention should be a full-time job (for you and me). Belly rubs? Yep. Toys? Oh yes. Tennis balls, rope toys, squeaky toys — I love them all, but especially bones! I'm a professional full-time chewing machine. I’ve got a big heart and even bigger zoomies, so I’m looking for an active human who’s ready to keep up with me. Daily walks, playtime, hiking adventures — I’m down for it all. But don't think I don't enjoy my down-time — when I'm ready to chill, I know how to bring on the cuddles and make my tummy extra accessible for those belly rubs (sorry, that's just part of the deal). I’ve got a lot of love (and fun!) to share, and I’m ready to share it with my forever person! Let’s play, let’s snuggle, and don’t forget the peanut butter!

Based off my experience here at the shelter, I am looking for a home with no other animals. You might think I'm spoiled, but I just like to be the center of attention. I promise I will be entertaining enough all on my own!

Interested in adopting me? We recommend submitting a general online adoption application and then heading to the shelter during our normal adoption hours (Mon: 12-4pm and Tues-Sun: 12-5pm) to meet our available animals. Please note: all applications are considered general until the animal has been met. If you have any questions, please contact animalcenter@bmorehumane.org or 410-833-8848 Ext 2.
