Pickles - Adopted 8-25-24's Story
Pickles was born 8-1-2020 and is @25 lbs. Tricolor. House trained. He'd do best as the only pet in an all adult home. He was turned in from a home where he did not get along with the older dog. He also has some people issues, which we have worked with him on, and he has been a good student i.e. he's been territorial about his doghouse/bedding. He needs space to get used to someone.
Leash trained, though he does pull, if you allow it...easy fix. He's into a good routine going into a large playground each morning to hang and play by himself. Sleeps in a run right outside windows to our office and next to Playground of mostly a few large pooches. He's come a long way - so handsome!
Keep in touch with our on-site trainer and be patient. He looks like a puppy - these dear ones can heal and recover - if/when we learn to speak their language.
His new roomie at B&B is older beagle Hillary - they do well together; we had thought both should be only dogs, but they do work OK together.
