Meet Pickles

You might say I've gone from being a street-smart survivor to the official greeter of hearts. I'm Pickles, a nearly 3-year-old, 50-pound female boxer mix who is a snuggle-loving, couch companion and a zooming enthusiast. As the unofficial greeter of dock goers on a houseboat, I've learned to adore people, and I'm here to bring a wagging tail and a warm heart to every encounter.

I've mastered the fine arts of house and crate training and I'm fine-tuning my leash skills, Smart? Absolutely! I already know the command for "sit" and am working on a few more. While I've been through my share of battles, I'm putting in the work to overcome my separation anxiety. The marks on me tell stories of survival, but my heart tells a tale of love and connection.

I would love to have a home with a fenced yard and a family who is committed to working with me as I continue to develop trust and confidence. I get along with teenage kids and other dogs, with proper intros, of course. I've learned that cats really don't appreciate being chased, so a dog-savvy cat might be okay. If you are ready for your own personal welcoming committee, I am your girl!

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
