Phoenix D6134's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Phoenix (born Oct. 1, aka Zuzu) is a smart, easily-trainable sweetheart. Whenever she meets a new person, she flattens her ears, wags her butt, and prepares to give kisses. She's an eager puppy, so she's still learning how to sit calmly when greeting new people. She learned "crate" in one sitting and continues to learn other commands quickly through positive reinforcement. Potty training is going smoothly (very few accidents) and she cracks her foster family up as she bounds through the snow and chases her balls. She makes adorable puppy snores and she cuddles with anyone willing to sit still.

She was with her mom and brothers until 9 weeks old and is now waiting at her own foster home for her final adoption. Her mom was a German Shepherd mix, which explains her striking coloring, and the best guess is that dad had some lab, based on the look of her two brothers and her velvety coat. She'll be the perfect Christmas puppy. Come meet her.
Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Please go to our website www.wagsmn.org and fill out an Adoption Application. Once the application is processed, a Wags representative will contact you, answer any questions you may have, and set up a time/location for a meet and greet! A home visit is required prior to adoption.

Thank you for choosing to adopt!

Breed and temperament determination: Wags & Whiskers Animal Rescue attempts to determine breed and temperament using a combination of looks, information provided to us at intake, and our experience with the animal while in our Rescue.
