Introducing the most beautiful & goofy girl, Phoenix! Phoenix is a 3 year old pittie mix with velvety soft black fur. She is the perfect size around 55 lbs.<br/><br/>Phoenix’s favorite things are snuggles with her humans and toys. If you sit down anywhere cozy, within seconds Phoenix will be right up against you serenading you with her adorable snores. She will make a great buddy for lazy days watching your favorite show. She is perfectly content to nap throughout the day and even though she absolutely adores her people, she has no separation anxiety and will be fine if you need to leave the house for a few hours. When its not time for naps and snuggles, Phoenix is up and ready to play with toys – any toy! She will gladly chase after a toy in the yard, play a game of tug-o-war, or simply do zoomies while carrying her toy around. She is such a goofy girl and will find the absolute biggest stick she can find and proudly run around with it.<br/><br/>Phoenix loves to give hugs and is so happy when she gets forehead kisses on her big pittie noggin. She is extremely gentle when taking treats and does the most adorable little snorts. She loves getting fruits and veggies as treats too! She walks very nicely on leash and rides calmly in the car. She has done well on adventures to places like Home Depot. She will gladly go into her crate when asked and is content to hang out in it, but she would be perfectly fine left out too because she is not destructive at all. She knows some commands and wants to please her humans. <br/><br/>Phoenix is learning that other dogs can be a source of play and comfort too. We are confident that she could live happily with another dog as long as her family is committed to slow introductions and giving her time to adjust. She has been nurturing toward the puppies that have come through her foster home. She cannot live with cats or other small animals as she does have an innate prey drive.<br/><br/>We would recommend that Phoenix does not go to a home with children under teenage age. This is only because she can be overzealous when it comes to her toys and may accidentally catch your hand when jumping up for her toy. We are working on correcting this behavior, but she will need a family that is committed to ongoing training.<br/><br/>She is spayed, microchipped and utd on her vaccines and preventatives. <br/><br/>Phoenix is a low maintenance girl that will make a great snuggle and adventure companion for someone looking for a sweet, affectionate and silly best friend to love.
