Meet Phoenix
Phoenix can best be best described as an endless ball of fun energy. This young dog, maybe about 2 years old is looking for an active home that will take her on lots of adventures!
This girl has a bit of a sad past, most likely used as a bait dog. The scars on her face may be a sad reminder of where she came from, but this does not get Phoenix down at all!
Phoenix is a love, truly loves every single human she meets. We feel her very jumpy nature is too much for young children, so we are recommending a home with teens and adults. Phoenix loves other dogs, but they must be as active as her! She would be a real pest for a calmer, older dog. Phoenix is too much of a hunter for cats and small animals though, so she can't live with them.
Phoenix likes the car, loves toys and loves to follow her nose! She is not a dog who can be trusted off leash and will need to be monitored in a fenced-in yard to avoid escaping!
Phoenix is really just a great dog. Her love of life shows with her very waggy tail and we can't wait to see her in a loving home with a new best buddy!
Adoptions are by appointment only. For more information on this pet email adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org
All dogs are fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and heartworm/lyme tested before adoption. Adoption fees are $360 for a dog, $460 for a puppy, and $250 for a dog with special needs or senior over 10 years old.
