Phoenix's Story

Phoenix came to us as a stray and no one stepped up to claim her. She often needs a bit of time to be comfortable with new people, so a few visits with her would be necessary. Phoenix needs to be the only pet in the home so that she doesn't have to share the love! She absolutely loves all the staff at the shelter but takes much more time to trust men. Phoenix enjoys walks, belly rubs, and butt scratches. She takes treats gently.

YOU MUST COME IN AND MEET THE PET YOU ARE INTERESTED IN Potential adopters: -Must be 21 years of age to adopt -We do not adopt to students -If you rent your home, you must provide a copy of your lease -ALL family members or persons living in the home must meet the pet -Provide copy of your driver's license -Fill out adoption application--we have the right to deny your application -Meet the pet-if you have other pets, we can arrange a "meet & greet" -Interview process--we are looking for a "match" to our animals, it's not "first come first served".
