Phoebe's Story

Phoebe was born in mid-January, came to DHPR in March, and is a healthy happy puppy! She has been loved on in foster care since then. She was small for her age and at 10 weeks old, she weighed only 5 lbs. but was healthy. At 5 months old she weighs 23 lbs. She is a petite pit.
We want to ask that children be over 9 years because Phoebe doesn't know her own size or how strong she is. Must have a fenced yard for her to roam and she needs an active family. She loves all people and dogs!
From her foster:
Phoebe is wide open with curiosity and puppy energy but once she has her walk or gets the Zoomies out… she just chills in her crate. She plays well and loves her naps and cuddles.
She loves life and other dogs and lamb horns and baby carrots and chicken and rice. She loves adventure and exploring and Tummy rubs.

**Breeds are a best-guess***
***If you are interested in adopting Phoebe, please fill out an application available on Destination Home Puppy Rescue's Facebook page or via the "More About Us" button on this page.***
***We only adopt to homes/families in NC and SC***
