Phineas's Story

Meet Phineas!

This 12-week-old terrier mix has already proven to be a little miracle. He came from an accidental litter, and while his brother sadly battled parvo, Phineas stayed strong and healthy—and he’s now completely in the clear.

Phineas is a sweet, cuddly boy who’s learning what love feels like. Before coming to us, he and his siblings weren’t handled and were left outside in the dirt, so human touch was very new and even a little scary to him. With patience, kindness, and a gentle hand, he’s discovering that snuggles are one of his favorite things. After his initial hesitation, he melts right into you for love.

He’s currently being fostered in a busy home with children, cats, and another dog, and he’s doing wonderfully! It’s been amazing for his socialization, and his new family will need to continue helping him experience the world, work through fears, and gain confidence at his own pace. Phineas will thrive in a home that’s patient, consistent, and committed to helping a shy pup grow into his full, happy self.

Thanks to his amazing foster, Phineas is already crate trained and potty trained—such a smart boy!

If you’re looking for a tender-hearted puppy who just needs a little extra time and love to blossom, Phineas could be your perfect match.

Adoption includes: vaccines, deworming, flea treatment, microchip, negative fecal test, and neuter when he’s old enough.
