PHILLIP - sweet boy!'s Story

Please let us introduce Phillip. He and his sister were found dodging traffic on a busy city street. It appeared that they had been abandoned and left to fend for themselves....so sad! Thankfully, a kind passerby picked them up and brought them to safety. They are now in foster care while waiting for forever homes of their own.

Phillip is about 1 year old and weighs 56#. His exact breed is unknown, but he appears to be a hound mix....possibility with some Beagle.. He spends most of his time outside at his foster home, but because he was treated for heartworm at rescue, this boy is very familiar with his crate and goes right in when asked. We can't exactly call him house-trained, but he has never done anything in his crate and alerts his foster when he needs to go. This boy is a diamond in the rough and has all makings of becoming a great family addition in the hands of an experienced hound lover. Who can resist those soulful eyes!?

Phillip gets along great with his sister. The other dogs in his foster home are older and not thrilled with his playful nature so he hasn't had much exposure to them. When at the vet clinic, he can be somewhat reactive to strange dogs, but he sure loves his humans..

Phillip is neutered, microchipped and up to date with his vaccinations. All this sweet boy needs is an experienced, loving home where he'll receive the time and attention that every dog deserves. Please email Chris at rescue3@earthlink.net for an application and she'll send one right out to you. Phillip's adoption fee is $350. He's waiting for you!
