Phil's Story

Phil

3 years, 8 months

38 lbs

Phil has never met a stranger! He loves people and is always ready to make a new friend. Whether you’re heading out for a car ride, a walk, or a hike, Phil is happiest by your side.

Would do best with only one other dog in house so he’s not overwhelmed. He/She can show him the ropes but also with slow intros so he can understand boundaries when going into the home. He currently lives with another dog and they love wrestling and playing together. Cats, however, are a no-go for this handsome guy.

He’s wonderful with kids of all ages (be prepared for plenty of face kisses!) and absolutely lives for playtime. Chasing tennis balls around the backyard or down the hallway is one of his favorite things, so a fenced yard would be a dream for all his zoomies.

Phil is fully potty trained and crate trained—in fact, he loves his crate! He can be a little timid around things like scary vacuums or in brand-new environments, but with a little reassurance, he settles in quickly and lets his goofy personality shine.

When the weather turns chilly, you’ll find Phil rocking his favorite sweaters. In the summer, he’s just as stylish in his sun shirts. He’s equal parts adventure buddy, cuddle bug, and comedian, and he’ll happily flash his adorable little “teefers” to make you smile.

If your home could use more laughter, snuggles, and unconditional love, Phil is ready to meet you!

t
www.NeedyPaws.org
and we will contact you.

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Phil’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.
