Peyton's Story
Hi! My name is Peyton! I am a 3+ yr old, approx 40lb handsome black and white border collie mix. My brother Eli and I found our way to Tails and Trails from Kentucky where we were kept outside year round in a hoarding situation. When we went through vetting, we found out we were both heartworm positive but we've gone through treatment and are living with a wonderful foster couple who have worked hard to socialize us.

I can be a little skittish but am getting better everyday. My foster family has taught me how to take treats, how to enjoy toys and how to go into a crate. They taught me that the crate is a safe place.

If you're interested in adopting me, please apply online at tailsandtrails.org. Once approved, a meet and greet will be set up.
