🐶💙 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION — MEET Petrie ! 💙🐶<br/><br/>Petrie is a sweet, small-sized boy who’s ready to go home.<br/><br/>He’s looking for a home where he can be loved, and part of the family—whether that means couch cuddles, daily adventures, or just being your loyal shadow. He is about 16 weeks old and 15 pounds. He will be a small medium size full grown. His brothers DNA confirmed they are almost half Beagle and the rest a mix of Hounds. He is being fostered with other dogs , children and cats. He is doing great with Potty training ! <br/><br/>Here is what his foster family had to say. <br/> <br/>Petrie has been nothing but a playful snuggle bug since coming to stay with us. He is gentle and kind with our toddler and playful with our other two dogs but respectful of their space and responsive when they let him know to calm down. Additionally, he is extremely respectful of our cats. He loves to follow the big dogs around outside and explore but knows to stick close and is doing well with recall when its time to go in. He sleeps the whole night whether in his own bed or snuggled in bed with you. Potty training is going great as he has taken well to knowing to do his business when taken outside or mostly using the puppy pad in the event he can’t make it. He is playful puppy but has an off switch: he loves his toys and a nap in his bed. He takes redirection extremely well when it comes to switching a shoe for a toy of his own or dismissing the inevitable puppy nibbles. He is smart, food motivated which is great for training (but will not relentlessly beg or try to take your food from you), and quick to grasp what you ask of him. He will need more crate work as he is vocal initially but does calm down and stay crated in short intervals well.
