Hi! My name is Petra. I am a 9 year old Chihuahua mix. I’m a tiny girl weighing only 5.5lbs.<br/><br/>I had such a broken heart when I came into rescue. I had lost my home and was so confused. My foster mom really had to go slowly with me so I could learn to trust her. Slowly but surely, I have bonded with her! I am very food motivated so that always helps with training me. <br/><br/>I love to be outside exploring my yard so a secure physical fence is required. I love to just curl up on foster mommy’s lap and sleep. I wear really cute sweaters too because I get cold easily. <br/><br/>I coexist with dogs and cats, I don’t mind them as long as they leave me alone. No kids at all for me please! I would love a home where my humans are home most of the time or they can take me with them. I walk well on leash and ride perfectly in the car. I am crate trained and potty trained. I really don’t need a crate but foster mommy taught me anyways. <br/><br/>Petra is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, current on heartworm preventative, and current on flea/tick preventative.
