Petey's Story

Petey is an approximately 9-year-old, 16-pound Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix who is definitely making up for lost time because he doesn't act like a 10-year-old at all!

Petey is a Chihuahua x Jack Russell mix who weighs 16 pounds and is 9 years old, but he acts like he's much younger! You can count on him to be gentle when taking food and treats from your hand (which he LOVES), and you can also count on him to try to hog all the squeaky toys! He is enjoying the comforts of a soft and warm bed after living outside in a dilapidated, dirty dog house and is loving the good life.

Adoption fee is $250 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.

STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs. We encourage interested individuals to get approved prior to searching as it helps expedite the process. A Petfinder inquiry is not a substitute for an application.
